Dress Sizing

Bridal is typically 2 sizes bigger than your jean size. So if you are a 12 in jeans, you would be a 16 in bridal. You can go up 2 sizes from your bridal size and alter it down without compromising the fit. So if you are a 12 in jeans- you can shop the 16's, 18's, and 20's. See the chart breakdown below.

Take Accurate Measurements

Alterations

In some dresses there is seam allowance to let it out a little if you are sizing down, planning to lose weight or love a dress that is a little small. You can email us to see if there is seam allowance so you can let the dress out. When it comes to alterations- a lot can be done. If you love a dress, but the straps are too wide, they can be thinned out, changing a neckline from straps to off the shoulder can be done if the back comes up high enough, lining can be changed in alterations too- if its blush and you want ivory, it can be done!
